Daniel Beaulieu is Chief Content Officer at News Deeply, an award-winning digital media company dedicated to creating understanding of critical issues and building communities around them, including Syria, Refugees, Oceans, Water, and Women and Girls.

Daniel previously led the World Economic Forum’s Knowledge Lab thought-leadership Incubator and helped lead the Global Agenda Councils, the world’s largest network of experts dedicated to addressing global issues. In 2008, Daniel was one of the founding editors of a leading English-language newspaper in the Middle East, The National.

Prior to this, he was Middle East Editor and Correspondent at the international news agency AFP during the second Palestinian intifada and Iraq war. He reported from Iraq, Jerusalem, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. He also served as a journalist for AFP and Reuters in Asia. He holds an MPA from Harvard University and a BA in East Asian Studies from McGill University.
